The first thing you should do is to set up a free Neteller eWallet account. The next thing, and probably the most important one, is to set up a second “checking” (or “current”) account, without (that’s important!) Internet banking facilities and without a debit card. I often refer to this as my secure account. This account is the one I use on daily basis and it I pay all my direct debits and bills from it. As soon as I get my salary cheque, I put it into my original bank account, and transfer over everything except what I know I can afford to play with to my secure account, out of harm’s way.
